Guy Martin and The Great Escape

Project Details

The Great Escape! – A fun drawing I did for Guy Martin as a tribute to the 75th anniversary of the Great Escape in 1944 (WW2) and the classic 1963 Movie. I drew Guy jumping the Triumph TR6 ridden by Steve McQueen and Bud Ekins in the film.

During the actual Great Escape (the 2nd from the camp) 76 allied prisoners of war escaped from Stalag Luft III. 73 were captured and 50 shot by the Nazi Gestapo under direct order by the fascist, Adolf Hitler. 3 Escaped!

I think this’ll be available as a t-shirt shortly but its also printed in Guy’s 2020 calendar available now from www.guymartinproper.com

On the 8th December 2019, Channel 4 will screen a programme called “Guy Martin’s Great Escape” when Guy will attempt to recreate the famous fence jump from the movie aboard a modern triumph Scrambler. Proper!
