Website Statistics

This website uses tracking software to monitor its visitors to better understand how they use it. This software is provided by Google Analytics & Jetpack which use cookies to track visitor usage. The software will save a cookie to your computer / device in order to track and monitor your engagement and usage of the website, but will not store, save or collect personal information. 

Newsletter (Email Subscription)

This website operates an email newsletter program, used to keep its subscribers up to date with news, products, events and services supplied by this website and 99seconds. We use MailChimp (https://www.mailchimp.com) to store and manage data on our subscriber lists, this data is only ever used by, and for 99seconds own email marketing, maintenance and customer service – and we only store the data you explicitly give to us. Users can subscribe to our newsletter through an online form found in the footer of our website, through a pop-up window on our website, as well as through our Facebook page and  our online store, where we also provide a clear opt-in check box to explicitly ask for your permission. Other email newsletter subscriptions options inlude manual sign up forms at events, which are processed through prior written agreement, and whereby the user must tick a check box and signature a form to opt-in to this service. No personal details or email addresses are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies / people outside of the company that operates this website or those working on their behalf. Email marketing campaigns published by 99Seconds may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity. This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based upon their activity. Subscribers are given the opportunity to change subscription settings, opt-out or un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign.

The 99Seconds website enables users to use social media sharing buttons which help and enable users share our websites content directly to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest. Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.
