GOODBYE
Sadly this weekend my girlfriends mum Mrs Bland (by name and not by nature!) passed away after a long battle with cancer. She is an amazing lady full of character and this world will be less colourful without her here. The next world aint gonna know what hit em!!! A real inspiration for individuality, determination, passion and love, something we all need more of. See you on the brightside Mrs Bland x

ILL COMMUNICATIONS
You may be having a bit of trouble loging onto the site or with sending / receiving emails and phone calls to 99SECONDS. My apologies, we've been moving premisis and also changing over to a new host. As a result communication with the outside world has been pretty ill for the last few weeks. We should be back up and running this week at somepoint. Expect some updates on latest works and random drawings and stuff. Been nuts busy lately so there is loads of new stuff to be posted. Same applies for TWOAND8 (our other project) and there are several new designs at the printers, stand by...
LEEKY GALLERY
An exhibitor

UPDATES
I've added the work I did for Stencil to the work section. There are some examples of the character sheets and the storyboards in there as well as the preview of the animation. There are also some examples of illustrations I've done for Computer Arts Projects magazine in the illustration section of 'work'
STENCIL
Sprout Media asked me to design some characters for them for an animation they were producing for the title sequence of a new lifestyle program called 'Stencil'. I ended up designing the characters, doing the storyboards and drawing the backgrounds. I've wanted to do animation since I was a kid so I was stoked for the chance. My concepts and drawings were handed over to Nick Harrop and Morgan at Spider-Eye who did a great job of bringing it all to life. I'm pretty stoked on the outcome, it has a few tweaks still to do here and there before its finished. Cant wait to see it fully dialled. In the meantime, here is a preview of it how it stands, its about 1.2mb, not sure if it buffers correctly tho. Here...

WINTER UPDATE
Been pretty busy the last few weeks since the site was first put up, havent even had a chance to add the photograpgy or Misc. sections let alone all the pop ups in the work section. All good though, things have been varied to say the least.
Just finished a last minute illustration for Computer Arts Magazine. Its my first for them and hopefully not the last. I tried to tackle it so that it was a fusion of 'hand draw' meets 'photoshop'. Alot of it I think looks like it was hand painted but asside from the characters the rest is all digital. Click the preview below to see a bigger version.
Also just done another BMX frame graphic for Hidden Nation. This time its for the AZRAEL (Angel of Death) frame. click HERE to check it out.
Did a flyer / poster for Worcester / Bristol metalcore band Broken Promise. They're brutal as hell but I love em. They played at the TWOAND8 Jam and also at my birthday jam at Park Central in Bristol. If you like hardcore / screamo go to the gig, click on the pic of the flyer to get a bigger one, print it off and you'll get in cheaper + show your support for the up and coming.
I'm currently refurbishing kung's randombmx website, it should be up by christmas but until then here is a preview of the new logo I did, a bit of a nod to soviet russia I think.
WELCOME TO A NEW BEGINNING
We finally made it! 99SECONDS is 2years old this month and we've only just found time to build our own website. It's been a busy but fun couple of years punctuated by us lifting anchor and relocating to good ol Bristol.
Life is good here, out of the rat race of London and we haven't looked back once. Its given us more space and more time to develop our work and our friendships and rethink the whole way we go about our business. The creative scene here is awesome and street art is flourishing. The skatepark culture is a huge part of this city's lifestyle as is the music. What better place could we be? Okay yeah its England and its winter but hey you can't have everything right?
Well please enjoy looking around the website. I hope you find something that interests you. To see some brief examples of the stuff we do please check out the WORK pages. They are shown as little flash slideshows so please make sure you have flash / shockwave installed. Still to come is the Photography portfolio and also a few bits and bobs in the MISC. section. Enjoy looking around, hope to hear from you soon.
