One of my favourite treats of the summer is the good old 99 Flake Ice-cream. It provided inspiration behind the logo I did for 99 SECONDS and hence the name. (its also a nod to the fact that some of my family used to work for Caburys) Obviously with the heat wave we're having at the moment, 99's are on peoples lips (literally) and today I found this cool (hah)article on the mysterious origin of its name..... I have a bunch of drawings and stuff in a "BMX inspired Art and Photographty show" which kicks off this weekend (the 22nd July). Its to be held in the bar (apparently very nice) at Birmingham's Epic Skatepark. The launch party is tomorrow night so travelling back to the montherland with Kung who is also showing some of his photos. Should be a laugh + we get to ride the park for the evening and we havent been there for a while. I think the show runs for 3weeks so pop in if you're about.

Last time I updated the news was in March so please forgive my slackness. Truth be told the last few months have just been off the hook and we've been so busy there just hasnt been a thought spared for the site. As soon as there is a clear desk I'll get a bunch of stuff up about our latest projects and stuff. Following that later in the year there will be a complete redesign of this site to bring us upto date. Just so you know in the meantime check out the relaunched GENEX programme on the Extreme Channel. 99SECONDS did all the design for the programmes title graphics etc and worked in conjunction once again with Matt Chandler to get all the animation work done. It was a fun (but big and scary project) and featured pink space invaders and cows riding bikes. Sick.

Currently I'm working on a huge illustration project (for the last 3months) for an e-leaning development company Cylix working entirely in Flash. I'll put up some examples when its finally done and dusted.

We're (Kung and I) due to take part in a BMX inspired photography and illustration exhibition called Wallspace, starting 22nd July at Epic Skatepark, more details to follow.
