DEFIANT WEBSITE

We've 99% finished the Defiant online shop and its now soft testing to iron out a few little issues. Its the first e-commerce site we've done and we're very proud of what we've acheived with it so far! alot of the interface is Flash based with the actual shop being dynamically driven with php. This means that the client (Defiant) can control their shop / payment / stock etc without having to get us to do it for them. Its a major break through for us as it puts some power back in the hands of our clients and free's us up to get on with more design work. If you know anyone that needs a dynamic online shop send em our way! It was fun making the artwork to furnish the site and we think it looks hot. Go check it out and spend some money on cool stuff...here

Computer Arts Samurai

Just done another tutorial for Computer Arts Projects magazine. This time its about using the new Live Trace and Live Paint features of Adobe Illustrator CS2 (many thanks to Adobe for the software hook up). The opening illustration requested by the magazine was based on the Akira illustration i did for Hidden Nation. This one has more flow I think.

L.A. Hardcore

Finished the title graphics and credits for the Extreme Channels new show, L.A. Hardcore. The show is about the relationship between skateboarding and hardcore punk in LA during the 80's. The graphics were done in collaboration with Matt Chandler. I'll put a whole load of screen grabs and clips up when I can. They look pretty sick.

The programme is already editied (4 episodes) and showing on the Extreme Channel. Schedule here
