NOW SOLD AND GONE TO A GOOD NEW HOME!!! (weep)

I'm unfortunately having to sell my pride and joy. I've had this original 1978 1275GT for the last 12yrs and she's been garaged throught (and probably before).

I rebuilt and restored her about 7rs ago and then drove her for about 2yrs and 4000 miles before putting into storage when I moved to London.

I got her MOT'd in Junee and the engine started (and pulled like a train) first turn. Didnt need much for the MOT. Been driving her a little since, to the shops and stuff and she's running like a dream, I forgot how much fun she is.

The engine was built by Dave at Min-its (genius) and its a 1380 based on a Metro Turbo block and crank with omega pistons, lightened MED fly, orange rally clutch, piper cam, stage III head, oil cooler, blah blah, I have all the receipts and spec etc as you'd expect + loads of the original bits and tonnes of spares including heads / disks etc... Even the original brown seat covers.

It is very fast but smooth and easy to drive and very reliable. She's never broken down and puts a massive grin on my face everytime I drive her.

Its fitted with a factory sliding vinyl sunroof and has minilite 12in wheels and Dunlop SP tyres. Beautiful paintwork and solid as a rock. There are a few bits here and there that would need attention to stop anything gettting out of hand but basically its a very honest and solid car. Here is more lowdown...

SOME POINTS OF INTEREST

• Only approx 4000 miles on engine since rebuild
